EASY BEEF STROGANOFF RECIPE


Ingredients
8 ounces boneless beef sirloin steak
1/2 cup dairy sour cream or plain yogurt
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon granules
1/3 teaspoon caraway seed
1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
3 cups hot cooked noodles


Directions

1.
First prepare the beef by trimming the fat from beef. Next thinly slice across
the grain into bite-size strips. Set aside until needed later.

Next start on the sauce by stirring together the sour cream (or yogurt if using instead
of sour cream), flour, tomato paste, mustard, worcestershire sauce, bouillon granules,
caraway seeds, and the 1/3 cup of water. Set aside and go back to work on the beef again.

In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and then add the beef, onion, mushrooms,
and garlic. Cook until the meat is of desired doneness. The vegetables
should also be tender.

Now add the sauce to the skillet. Cook over medium heat till thickened and bubbly,
stirring along the way. Cook for 1 minute more while stirring continuously. Serve
