MILK CHOCOLATE TOFFEE CREAM PIE RECIPE

6 ounces coarsely chopped milk chocolate
3/4 cup heavy cream
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped chocolate toffee candy bits
1 (9inch) prepared chocolate crumb crust

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Add the chopped chocolate into a small bowl and set aside. In a saucepan, bring the 1/2 cup of
cream to a simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Let stand, covered for 5 minutes. Stir until smooth.

In a medium bowl with an electric mixture, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Beat in the remaining 1/4 cup cream. Gently beat in the cooled chocolate mixture. Fold in 1/2 cup
of the chopped toffee bits.

Pour the filling into the prepared crust and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of chopped toffee bits.
