SHREDDED BEEF TACOS RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 1/2-2 lbs boneless beef chuck roast
1 1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 sweet red pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
3/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup dry red wine
8 8" flour tortillas

ingredients for serving: optional
guacamole
sour cream
shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
taco sauce or salsa

Start by trimming any visible fat from the beef chuck roast. Add the chuck roast to a
slow cooker or crock pot. Add in the chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper,
chopped sweet red pepper, minced garlic, cumin,and chili powder. Add the liquid
ingredients to the cooker and cook on low heat for around 8 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove from crock pot and using 2 forks shred the meat. Place the shredded meat
onto an 8" warm flour tortilla and fill with your choice of toppings like guacamole,
sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese etc. Pour over some taco sauce or salsa
